UPDATED Walk Dates

Due to the way some important Jewish holidays fall this calendar year, we have changed 2 of our walk dates in order to accomodate everyone. The only dates that have been affected are the downtown Atlanta & Athens walks. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to anyone. Please jot these dates down and add them to your calendar:

NEWLY ADDED North Metro: Saturday, October 1st at the Cumming Fairgrounds

Augusta: Saturday, October 1st at the Augusta Commons

Savannah: Friday, October 14th at Forsyth Park

Athens: Friday, October 21st at The Classic Center

Downtown Atlanta: Saturday, November 5th at Centennial Olympic Park

Meet our NEW National Spokesperson for 2011, Michael C. Hall. Successfully treated for Hodgkin lymphoma in 2010, Hall shares his personal experience and encourages people to walk in support of the annual Light The Night Walk.

Hall says, "The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society pours a tremendous amount of money directly into cutting-edge cancer research – research that I’ve certainly benefited from. It’s an organization that you can be confident is at the forefront of moving things forward."
